Registration has begun for Sakura Japanese Language School
The Sakura Japanese Language School, located at Renison University College, University of Waterloo, which offers language classes for young learners from 1-3 pm on Saturdays. In the coming school year 2013-2014, the program will be open to children ages four to eight. Sakura Japanese Language School will start a new school year!
Dear WRJCCA members, The Sakura Japanese Language School at Renison University College will start a new school year on Saturday, September, 8th. This fall, we will launch a combined junior and senior kindergarten class (4-5 year-olds) as well as a combined grades one and two class (6-7 year-olds). We are planning to have a mini-workshop by the Nagata shachu, a famous Japanese taiko drumming and music group. As well, we will have a special lecture by the University of Waterloo graduate students. We will stimulate young students’ interest and encourage their Japanese study. We look forward to your registration. |
Summer Picnic
Please mark your calendars for the Nikkei-kai Summer Picnic. This year it will be on Sunday June 24th at 10:00am. We will have it at the same spot in Waterloo Park. As you know there is no "Rain Date", so we will pray for good weather. |

St. Louis Adult Learning & Continuing Education is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Japanese Language School on Saturday May 5, 2012.
